Cobots in production

Our collaborative robot arms – also known as cobots – work side-by-side with our employees in production. Unlike traditional industrial robots, cobots are designed to operate close to people without the need for safety guarding, providing great flexibility in the production layout.

Cobots are primarily used to assist our employees with feeding machines with material and unloading finished parts, at stations where a traditional industrial robot is not practically possible to integrate. 

Their intuitive programming makes it quick and easy to reconfigure them for new tasks, which is a great advantage in production with many different product types.

The close collaboration between the employee and the cobot means we get the best of both worlds – the machine's precision and endurance combined with the employee's experience and judgement.
